The early years are important years when it comes to the development of children. As part of the Government’s ongoing efforts to uplift the preschool sector, the Ministry of Education (MOE) set up the National Institute of Early Childhood Development (NIEC) in 2019 – that’s us!

We offer courses taught by lecturers with deep early childhood (EC) expertise, and serve students at various points in their EC career. Diploma in Montessori Early Childhood Education course is offered by Asian International College. The Diploma in Montessori Early Childhood Education is designed for students who wish to work with or teach children from 2.5 to 6 years of age.
The Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Education is designed to equip students with the necessary theories, knowledge and skills for working with young children in the preschool field.
