Our qualifications range from diploma to master’s level with a number of them including elective Field Practice courses that can be studied by those wishing to pursue New Zealand teacher registration. Our vision is to empower our students with knowledge, skills, attitudes and beliefs that will enable them to be effective early childhood educators. To fulfill our vision we aim to:

The Bay Learning Academy teacher education course offers a series of professional development seminars for Teaching English as a Foreign Language. The course offers a theoretical and practical insight into teaching approaches and methods

Early Childhood Education course is offered by Avondale College Early Childhood Education Centre. Our vision is to provide high-quality care and education, in a friendly, accepting and supportive education environment where all children, whanau and staff are valued and respected.
The Cambridge CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) is the most widely-recognized international qualification in English language teaching to adults.
The New Zealand Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 4) will prepare you to provide practice-based education and care in early childhood settings and/or to pathway into higher-level study leading to a teaching qualification.
