The company has representation from the Kent Association of Headteachers, the Early Years and Childcare Providers Association and the Kent Association of Special Schools on its Board.
Working with young children requires a great deal of knowledge and expertise from those in the sector. Our exciting MA Education (Early Childhood) aims to support you to develop an in-depth understanding of a wide range of topics related to education and Early Childhood.
Develop as a creative innovative and reflective teacher specialising in working with the youngest children in primary schools (aged 3-7) on a course that meets the requirements for Qualified Teacher Status.
The Skills for Growth programme is fully-funded by the European Social Fund as part of Greater Manchester Combined Authority’s three-year plan to plug skills gaps identified by employers across different sectors in the city-region.
This qualification will provide classroom theory, practical learning and a 3 month industry placement with an employer. It has been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses so that it meets the needs of industry and prepares the students for work.
The core element of a T Level in education and early years will allow you to develop your knowledge and understanding in a broad range of topics such as child development, safeguarding and special educational needs, as well as learning about the role of families and support agencies.
