The Academy is a premier Maritime Training Institute (MTI) conducting STCW Modular and Offshore Courses approved by the Director General of Shipping (DGS), Government of India. NAMAC is a pioneer in conducting offshore safety courses adhering to the publicly available international quality standards in meeting the requirements of the Offshore Industry.

RC Church and Kendriya Vidyalaya No 3 provide well known landmarks to reach the Academy which is well connected by BEST buses and taxi service from both CST and Churchgate Stations.

NAMAC has been graded ‘Grade A1 - Outstanding’ by MMD, Mumbai during the Comprehensive Inspection Program (CIP) for MTIs conducting Modular courses.

NAMAC conforms to the requirement of ISO 9001: 2015 and 14001: 2015 as assessed by ABS Quality Evaluation. NAMAC was conferred with Samudra Manthan Award 2011 for being the best Offshore Training Institute in India.
