Do you need to take a ECG & Pharmacology class in order to better understand rhythms and pharmacology for cardiac related events or emergency critical care? This course is recommended for any healthcare professional and medical personnel who may respond to cardiovascular emergencies, especially those who are planning on taking the Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Classes.

The ECG and Pharmacology Class covers:

  • Heart anatomy and electrophysiology

  • How to read a heart monitor and interpret the rhythms

  • ECG measurements and arrhythmias

  • What drugs are used during a cardiac event and how to use them

  • ACLS drug basics including dosage, usage, and contraindications
