It is designed to develop the knowledge, competency and skills that enable students to recognize cardiac dysrhythmias and to act appropriately as a kinesiologist.
This course provides good foundational knowledge in the area of electrocardiography for students looking to complete Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP) and American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) certification exams. Learning takes place in both the classroom and the lab.

This introductory level Electrocardiogram (ECG) course provides an opportunity to learn a systematic approach to ECG interpretation for adult healthcare providers in conjunction with a practical session.
Upon successful completion of 8 hours, each participant will receive a certificate of attendance.
