The Economics of the Oil and Gas Industry

An introduction to the economics of the oil and gas industry. This course is suitable for students who have limited experience of the commercial and economic areas of the oil and gas industry and who are new to concepts such as NPV and IRR.

The course gives student a chance to utilise and adapt simple cash flow models (in MS Excel) and to investigate the economic performance of real life projects based on published information.
