The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is a knowledge and practice-based introduction to teaching and/or training. Candidates who successfully complete this qualification will have a fundamental understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a teacher/trainer in relation to Professional Standards, legislation, equality, diversity, inclusivity and meeting the needs of learners.
They will be able to sequence learning, plan and deliver lessons, using appropriate resources, teaching methods, and learning theories. They will also be able to identify the characteristics of effective assessment and feedback practice in the learning context.

This course will prepare learners for the roles and responsibilities associated with being an Early Years Practitioner so they can ensure the safeguarding, protection and wellbeing of the babies and young children that they are looking after.
The Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship is on-the-job training, working with children in schools. You will attend college one day a week. The Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship can last up to two years and you will be paid a wage by your employer.
The objective of the qualification is to benefit learners by enabling them to attain the knowledge, understanding and skills required to prepare them for teaching in a wide range of contexts.
