This course is designed as an introduction to teaching. It provides an insight into the roles, responsibilities, relationships and covers the knowledge and skills required.

Assessment
This course is assessed through assignments, micro teaching sessions and observations.
Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements. However, candidates must be considering the subject/skill for delivery. They should also have experience and achieved/aiming to achieve a qualification at the appropriate level in the area they will teach/train. Candidates also need a good level of written and spoken English, to read, write and interpret assignments.
