This course emphasizes the principles of effective oral communication and the development of public speaking skills. You will research, organize and deliver a variety of speeches for specific purposes.
Non-verbal communication, visual aids, and the effective use of supporting technology will be addressed. Instructor and peer feedback, and video analysis will be used to improve speech design and delivery.
To be successful in this course, you must be able to communicate well in English.

In this two-day workshop, you will master the skills that will make you a better speaker and presenter.
In this course, you will learn to organize your ideas to create coherent and convincing oral presentations, while also utilizing available visual aids and using public-speaking techniques to strengthen your delivery.
Opportunities to present information are everywhere in our professional and personal lives, but for many of us, having to speak in public is a significant challenge and a source of anxiety.
The course is focused on conÂcepts of equiÂty, diverÂsiÂty, and incluÂsion, and will address feaÂtures of varÂiÂous digÂiÂtal platÂforms, takÂing into account audiÂence, preÂsenÂtaÂtion purÂpose, strucÂture, and feaÂtures of pubÂlic speakÂing.
