The Berkeley College Electrocardiography Technician Training program focuses on administering and interpreting EKG tests. Learners will use machines to monitor the electrical conduction of the heart, acquire EKGs, prepare patients for stress testing, and simulate how to apply Holter monitors. The program also includes background information on anatomy and physiology of the heart, medical disease processes, medical terminology, medical ethics, and legal aspects of patient contact.
