An a-line, elastic waistband skirt that's a staple for any wardrobe and provides a lot of versatility.
You can make it short to wear over leggings, knee length for summer days, or even maxi (full length). If you choose to make this longer for your kiddo it can grow with your little one. They're easy peasy to make and you'll undoubtedly want to make more.

This class is for anyone who already knows how to sew, or the confident beginner who knows how to use a sewing machine and basic sewing techniques.

Learn how to alter and repair garments, both ready-to-wear and handmade. Students work on their own projects, practicing making alterations for themselves. Students also participate in group discussion and demonstrations, which teach how to think about making alterations and repairs for others.
Learn how to operate your serger. This lesson covers threading, basic operations, and trouble-shooting. You'll learn how to properly thread your serger, and then we'll complete samples using the various settings on the machine. All materials are included in the class fee.
