The program develops knowledgeable and skilled technologists who can work with engineers and technicians to implement electronic designs and perform engineering tasks such as collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data, prototyping, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various electronic systems.
Students can acquire the associate level Certified Electronics Technician (CET) certification.

A broad-based core of courses ensures you will develop the skills necessary to perform entry-level tasks. Emphasis is placed on developing your ability to think critically, analyze, and troubleshoot electronic systems.
This course covers principles of electricity including proper use of test equipment, A/C and D/C circuits, and component theory and operation.
Any individual who has applied for the apprenticeship program and wants to start working, but has not yet met all qualifications for the apprenticeship program can be placed to work as a Construction Wireman Level 1 if work is available.
This 14-week Powerline Apprentice Program is designed to provide students with the basic skills needed to launch a career with electrical utilities and/or contractors in the area of underground and overhead line work.
