Electrical Safety

Electricity has become one of the inseparable parts of our day-to-day lifeeither we are at home or in the workplace.Remember that electricity is always a possible source of danger if precautionary measures are not taken while using any electrical appliances and portable electrical equipment.

While using electricity it should always be considered as a hazard and so it should be handled very carefully to avoid the risk of shock or electrocution. Electrical Safety Training helps electricians and others working around or with electricity to avoid the risk of electrical shock or electrocution they are most likely to encounter.

It is important that all workers should be aware with electrical safety to stay safe in the workplace at all times.

Our Electrical Safety Training is prepared by experienced electrical professionals and will create awareness to be safe while using electrical equipment, machinery, or performing any electrical maintenance work.

Training Objectives

The purpose of this training is to make participants fully aware with electrical system, electrical hazard and its preventive measures, use of personal protective equipment and actions to be taken in the event of an electrical emergency.

• Understand the associated risks with use of electricity.
• Use and handle portable electrical equipment safely.
• Select right personal protective equipment.
• Know the procedure of visual inspection, maintenance, and requirements for the safe execution of electrical work.
• Know the frequency of inspection and testing.
• Know the techniques of safe isolation.
• Understand the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedure.
• Understand the adverse effects of electricity on human body.
