In recent years a lot many industries have come up to take advantage of the economic boon in the country. Moreover, existing industries too are in expansion mode.

Very often the companies, both in the private and the public domain, neglect to take up necessary measures with respect to electrical safety. The presence of manpower who are trained in electrical safety management can check this wrong practice being followed by the industries, by setting in force necessary guidelines on electrical safety and also by making the workforce aware of such safety measures.

Electrical Safety Officer Duties:

As an electrical safety officer, you will be responsible for electrical safety within your division. The following information will assist you in the performance of this task which has two purposes.

The first purpose is to provide guidance in the identification of electrical hazards. These will help to prevent mishaps that could cause fatal injuries to personnel and extensive damage equipment.

The second is to provide you with a better understanding of the program, in which we will discuss program responsibilities and elements.

Electrical Safety Officer —The Electrical Safety Officer ensures that an up-to-date ship’s electrical safety instruction exists. Copies of the electrical safety instruction are distributed to all departments and divisions and are available in the electrical tool issue room.
