Specific Industry Awareness education for telecommunications workers. Maintaining job safety is more involved for telecom technicians as they must not only be familiar with general construction safety guidelines, but also electrical safety and special rules for approach, in addition to employer guidelines. Principle Safety delivers a course that identifies telecommunication specific safety issues and focuses on electrical awareness and risk mitigation.
Applicable legislation is examined along with industry best practices, general electrical concepts & terminology and power distribution. Specific job hazards for overhead and high voltage as well as working at heights with aerial devices and ladders. The course is delivered by a Red Seal Master Electrician.
Learners are provided an information booklet with course details for reference. Record verification is provided to the employer for training documentation.

Principle Safety was born from need. There weren’t enough safety professionals with a penchant for proper documentation and paperwork. Nor were they with the industry knowledge and a desire for a safer working environment within the manufacturing sector in Alberta.
Participants will also gain the knowledge to conduct thorough workplace incident investigations. This course presents realistic recommendations during interactive case studies, which will help reduce or eliminate incidents and contribute to a safer, healthier workplace.
The course covers the maintenance and operation of an overhead crane. Course material will convey the safety procedures, legislation, inspections, and responsibilities of every operator.
This course provides students a basic understanding of mobile elevated work platform maneuvering, maintenance and operation. It will also cover relevant federal and provincial legislative requirements applicable to the workplace.
Working At Heights Cpo Approved Course is offered by safety training Ottawa.
This course will provide the learner with the required knowledge to perform a Tower Crane and Construction Rescue.
