Entry Level course which certifies trainees with an Electrical Safety Training Certificate, permitting them to safely practice electrical work in the field.

Trainees learn the basic safety fundamentals of working with electricity, including regulations, common hazards and safe work practices.

This 1-day Electrical Safety Training Systems Course is offered in-class. Participants learn relevant Provincial and Federal electrical safety regulations, the uses of electricity in the workplace, and how to effectively manage risk and control hazards by following correct procedures.
The course also covers electrical-specific PPE, emergency response procedures and incident reporting. In addition, trainees conduct personalized risk assessments to determine their own susceptibility to electrical injury. Trainees must pass a written exam to obtain the certificate.
