Celebrate Dia de los Muertos with us! Also known as Day of the Dead, Dia de los Muertos is a festive occasion observed in Mexico and by many in the Latinx community as a time to honor deceased loved ones.
During Dia de los Muertos, family members decorate elaborate altars with alebrijes, brightly-colored sculptures of fantastical mythical creatures. Create your own alebrije in two dimensions, and learn to transform your creature with traditional Otomí stitches and other Tenango embroidery techniques used throughout Mexico.
