Emergency First Aid at Work

Who Should Attend?

This course at Construction Training (B&H) Ltd is designed for people who want to receive training in emergency first aid and is especially suited for nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk working environments.

What you will learn?

The content of this course provides basic lifesaving first aid and workplace health and safety regulations, covering the following:

• The role of the first aider

• Fainting

• Managing an emergency

• Health and safety (first aid) regulations

• Communication and casualty care

• Resuscitation (adult CPR)

• Bleeding (minor and severe)

• Seizures (adult)

• Burns

• Shock

• Choking (adult)

• Unconscious casualty

Assessment

Written assessment and continuous observation by the trainer.

Certification

Successful candidates will receive a certificate which is valid for three years.
