Manage an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally
Manage an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally
Recognise and assist a casualty who is choking
Manage a casualty who is wounded and bleeding
Manage a casualty who is in shock
Understand how to manage a casualty with a minor injury

This Emergency First Aid at Work course is for anyone who wishes to become a confident first aider in low hazard workplaces such as shops, offices, gyms, hotels or where your risk assessment identifies a requirement for a first aider trained in emergency first aid at work.
Participants who successfully complete the course will be awarded a First Aid certificate which is an accredited qualification and valid for three years.
This is a half day course delivered face-to-face. Learning takes place through a mix of presentations, group discussions and workshop activities. Numbers are limited to 25 people per course so that the instructor can keep people safe and supported while they learn.
This course covers the topics required for basic first aid and is used when a workplace does not require someone to have the First Aid at Work qualification.
