The Level 3 First Aid at Work course is more advanced than the basic 1 day First Aid at work training. It is HSE compliant course. This qualification is designed to ensure first aiders at the workplace are trained under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
The course is designed to meet the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, Approved Code of Practice L74 which requires that where a First Aider is not legally required.
This Emergency First Aid at Work course is for anyone who wishes to become a confident first aider in low hazard workplaces such as shops, offices, gyms, hotels or where your risk assessment identifies a requirement for a first aider trained in emergency first aid at work.
The 1-day Emergency first aid at work (EFAW) course is ideal for those who need to be certified to be a first aider in lower-risk working environments.
The main aim of this course is to renew and update the knowledge and skills of participants, ensuring they remain competent in providing initial emergency first aid. By the end of the course, participants will be proficient in delivering immediate care for sudden injuries or illnesses.
