This course does meet the requirements of the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) and is OFQUAL recognised and may satisfy the requirements of your first aid risk assessment. The course covers the treatment of adults involved in first aid incidents in the workplace.
During the course you will learn the steps and techniques for handling life-threatening emergencies safely and with confidence. This course will provide first aid skills necessary to manage a patient that is not breathing normally, is unconscious or is bleeding prior to the arrival of the emergency services.

Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the student, and a final exam. Those students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard are issued with a certificate entitled "Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work" that is valid for three years.
