It is critical to build first aid skills that enable students to respond confidently in a life threatening situation. Our course content has been updated to include the latest CPR and ECE Guidelines, which have simplified CPR to increase bystander response, ultimately saving more lives.
The BLS (Basic Life Support) Provider course is a complete in-person experience where you will learn through lectures, video segments, practice and coaching, guided by a Heart & Stroke instructor.
The course covers responding to an emergency; resuscitation for Adults, Children, and Infants; two-rescuer CPR for each all age groups; bag-valve mask use; and responding as part of a team.

A comprehensive two-day course offering first aid and CPR training with the added component of the basic life support.
You may also benefit from having your Basic Life Support level if you are a professional with a fire service or rescue team, a sports medicine professional, a lifeguard or a ski patroller. If you are not a first responder or medical professional, you may need CPR Level A or C.
