The Emergency Medical Responder is an integral part of the Emergency Medical Services System. The goal of this course is to provide the students with core knowledge, skills, and attitudes to function in the capacity of an Emergency Medical Responder.
The Emergency Medical Responder course meets or exceeds the United States DOT Curriculum and the State of Minnesota EMS Regulatory Board. All instructors hold certification from the Minnesota EMS regulatory board of EMT-Basic or EMT-Paramedic and have at minimum 3 years experience on an ALS Transporting Ambulance.
All lead instructors have completed a DOT instructor course. The Emergency Medical Responder is an integral part of the Emergency Medical Services System. Upon successful completion of this course, the participant will be certified as an Emergency Medical Responder by the State of Minnesota EMS Regulatory Board.

Employees who routinely work with or near noise sources such as heavy equipment, power tools, demolition activities, pneumatic equipment, etc. are required to use hearing protection, obtain hearing tests, and receive training.
