The Emergency Paediatric first aid training is suitable for you if you are working with children, infants or babies. It’s a practical course showing you have to provide immediate emergency care to a child or baby.
This qualification provides you with the opportunity to develop the basic skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of emergency paediatric first aid situations which could arise when looking after children.
This course covers how to help a baby or child who:
is unresponsive and breathing
is unresponsive and not breathing, including the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)
is choking
is bleeding
is suffering from shock
is burnt or has a scald
is having a seizure.

Upon successful completion of the course you will receive your Daisy First Aid Platinum Certificate valid for 3 years
