If a workplace incident in BC results in an injury, or could have caused a serious injury, both employers and WorkSafeBC have certain responsibilities. Incident investigations help identify root causes and hazards, while finding ways to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.
This one-day program is for workers required to enter confined spaces and those who perform related work. This represents the first in a two step process for meeting the legal duty to provide workers with confined space training. (See below for details of the second step.)
