Emergency Response Training

For many people, the answer is yes. You might be a Police Officer, Paramedic, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Public Works employee, or even a member of an Emergency Response Team (ERT) at a site where chemicals are found. If you do respond to any sort of release of a hazardous material, OSHA requires that you take one of five levels of training:

• First Responder Awareness (FRA)
• First Responder Operations (FRO)
• Hazmat Technician
• Hazmat Specialist
• Incident Commander
