Hello
My name is Helen Lawson (MBPsS), and I am the founder of Wellbeing Training Solutions. I have been developing and delivering training in many shapes and forms for over 20 years.
In 2016, I set-up Wellbeing Training Solutions (formerly Boutique Training Solutions). From my work in business, education and health, I recognised a consistent theme; the absence of basic skills, are responsible for unnecessary struggles for many, at work and in life. My greatest pleasure is unleashing these skills in others.
Every day, I get to share effective strategies that can change people from the inside out. And that can change businesses from the inside out too.
You can't inspire others if you aren't inspired yourself
I am passionate about developing and delivering training that inspires others and makes a difference. I thrive on creating the perfect session to meet the needs of organisations, and their delegates.
I love bringing a wealth of experience, a positive, light-hearted, inclusive approach, and an absolute insistence that delegates must be able to do something better at the end of the session. Knowledge is not power. Application of knowledge is power.

Wellbeing beyond the training room
Sharing knowledge on ways to live and work better, isn't just a job for me. It's a core part of what makes me tick. So, when I was asked to collaborate on a book during the Covid 19 pandemic, daunted but undeterred, I was eager to share what knowledge I could, to help others.
My reflections on resilience became the opening chapter and reviews received at the time, suggested the project fulfilled its objective of supporting people to thrive rather than survive, as they transitioned out of an unprecedented period in history.
How to categorise people based on their needs to make useful conclusions on follow up actions
Emotional intelligence, also called EQ, is the ability to be aware of and to manage emotions and relationships. It is a pivotal factor in personal and professional success.
When you think about truly extraordinary people who inspire others and make a difference, you will see that they do this by connecting with people at a personal and emotional level. What differentiates them is not their IQ, but their EQ – their emotional intelligence.
The term Emotional Intelligence (EI) is increasingly well known and often cited as the key to effective workplace relationships. It was first popularised in1995 by Daniel Goleman – originally a science journalist now a consultant/academic at Rutgers University Graduate School in New Jersey.
This workshop aims to support parents and carers of school-age children and young people whose experience of anxious thoughts and feelings is leading to school avoidance. These difficulties are often referred to as Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA).
