End of Life Care
The qualifications are relevant to people working in health and social care settings where individuals who are supported are approaching the end of their life. This may include health residential, domiciliary care and palliative care settings throughout England. The learners taking these qualifications could be care assistants, support workers or health care assistants
Learners will learn about various aspects of end of life care, communication, managing discomfort and supporting individuals with loss. The level 5 covers managing end of life services and advanced care planning.
You can start this course on a date convenient to you. The assessment takes place through portfolio work. You will meet, 1-1, with your tutor for training and support on Skype/Zoom/Email/Phone calls and, when possible, face to face at work or at home.
Your course will last approximately 12 months.
Helping you pay
All our courses are individually priced and most courses have three prices. The first is the full price, which most people pay, the second for those claiming the state pension and the third for those on means tested benefits. If there is only one price shown then this applies to everyone, and there are no discounts.
Course materials
On some courses the initial cost of materials is built into the fee to get you started, but you will need to provide all other equipment such as books, stationery and any additional materials.
