English (Basic Level)

English Language Program 

Lets Talk Institute provides year-round intensive English instruction for youths, international students, businessmen and women and visitors who wish to improve their English communication skills or prepare themselves for the TOEFL, IELTS or GMAT exams.

Our commitment is to make your time in the institute a comfortable, fun, and rewarding educational experience. English classes are available from Beginner to Advanced levels and comprise 33 hours of English Language Training delivered in six-week modules throughout the year.

The Academy's comprehensive syllabus ensures that the skills of reading, writing and speaking are covered everyday with an emphasis on grammar, vocabulary and fluency.

Basic Level

Designed for students who have little or no background in English language. The course will provide a solid foundation for communicating in the language focusing on daily greetings, vocabulary, basic conversation, and basic grammar.

• Course Duration: Approx 6 weeks
• Number of sessions: 22 sessions of 1 ½ hour each
• Days: Monday to Friday (weekdays)

English language

Approximately 330 to 360 million people speak English as their first language. More than half of these (231 million) live in the United States, followed by some 60 million in the United Kingdom, the first place where English was spoken.

English is the third largest language by number of native speakers, after Mandarin and Spanish. There are six large countries with a majority of native English speakers that are sometimes grouped under the term Anglosphere.

They are, in descending order of English speakers, the United States (at least 231 million), the United Kingdom (60 million), Canada (19 million), Australia (at least 17 million), Ireland (4.2 million), and New Zealand (3.7 million).

In some countries where English is not the most spoken language, it is an official language; these countries include Botswana, Cameroon, the Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Kenya, Kiribati, Lesotho, Liberia, Malaysia, Malta, the Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Namibia, Nigeria, Pakistan,

Palau, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines (Philippine English), Rwanda, Saint Lucia, Samoa, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, the Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Sudan, South Africa, South Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
