Course Details

We tutor 1:1 English to students from aged 5 years and up. Regardless of level or exam board, our tutors closely follow the school syllabus so that they can support your child across all language and literature modules.

Generally speaking, English GCSE students need support with their English Language and Literature. For the GCSE English Language exam, your child will study creative reading and writing which includes one literature fiction text and descriptive or narrative writing.

Your child will study written and reading comprehensions centred around audience and writers' viewpoints and perspectives. GCSE Language students will be tutored on a wide range of texts from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries, including literature and literary non-fiction as well as reviews and journalism.
