Since 2013, TLC  has offered the largest provision of language courses in the centre of Newcastle, for anyone interested in learning a new language, brushing up on forgotten skills or just keeping up and developing their proficiency. We also providea large online programme accessible all over the world.

We have courses from beginners to very advanced students, taught by experienced native speakers or teachers who have spent part of their lives in one of the countries where the language is spoken.

We believe that communication should be at the heart of learning so our classes focus on speaking, understanding, pronunciation and cultural awareness. However, syntax, grammar, reading and writing are just as important and will be integrated in the coursework.

As quality is paramount for TLC, our programmes are based on the European Language Framework for European and non-European languages – these benchmarks are recognised worldwide.
