People differ – and the ability to perceive and adapt to others’ style is key to effective communication, collaboration and alignment in the workplace.

The DiSC model is a simple tool that helps people understand themselves and others and learn to connect and build relationships with a wide variety of individuals and personalities. In this interactive session you will gain greater self-awareness and understanding of how you come across. You will explore the four styles and their interactions in depth and learn how each style contributes and adds value on a team.

How You Will Benefit

  • Understand what drives your own behaviour, including your motivations, inclinations, priorities, and stressors.
  • Increase your awareness of other styles, the value they bring, and how their motivations, inclinations, priorities, and stressors are different from your own.
  • Recognize how and when to adapt your behaviour to communicate and interact more effectively with others.
  • Improved effectiveness at information sharing, problem-solving, collaboration and relationship-building with colleagues and team members.
  • Stronger one-on-one relationships leading to better coaching, feedback, and performance conversations.
  • Shared vocabulary for discussing personal styles and differences supports strong team culture and alignment.

Course Features

  • DISC® Classic 2.0 Assessment – validated, research-backed instrument provides participants with insight into their own behavioural style
