Completing this course through Astra Group ensures increased safety, minimal risk and improved operational readiness, preparing you for a future of success in your specified industry.

Our confined space training (formerly designated as RIIWHS202D Enter and Work in Confined Spaces) and construction management courses are developed specifically for workers across multiple industries who are exposed to the risks and dangers of entering a confined space or environments classified as such.

Confined Space Training Brisbane

Entering a confined space environment or relevant classified area means you are entering a zone that is generally unsafe to the public and not usually intended for human occupancy.

Confined spaces include, but are not limited to, storage tanks, process vessels, boilers, sewers and sewer pump stations, cargo tanks, duct keels, void spaces and ballast or oil tanks. Acquiring a confined space ticket will enable you to undertake work in these areas as per the Legislative requirements in Australia.

Thanks to our experienced professionals, Astra Group will work alongside you to make sure you successfully complete your confined space certification with the most up-to-date skills and knowledge to work safely while completing a variety of tasks in specified confined areas.

You will also be able to implement the proper risk management strategies, permit controls and isolation procedures.

Upon successful completion of the confined space training Brisbane based program, you will be able to complete the following tasks:

  • Effective tag and isolation procedures

  • Using atmospheric monitoring devices

  • Effective risk management strategies

  • Access to structures and natural environments

  • Working under entry permits and instructions

  • Selection, inspection, and safe use of equipment

  • Requirements of relevant Australian Standards and Legislations
