The Enter and Work in Confined Spaces Course is designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to enter and work in confined spaces.

This Course is a basic entry level course for those working in operational roles in confined spaces and includes the use of atmospheric monitoring devices.

Some Aspects Of The Course Include:

  • Identifying areas that constitute confined spaces

  • Complying with the entry and exit procedures

  • Types of air contaminants and toxic gases

  • Identifying equipment types, characteristics, technical capabilities and limitations

  • Complying with site isolation and site control

  • Locations of safety data sheets (SDS) information

  • Using atmospheric monitoring devices prior

 

Pre-requisite

  • Reasonable level of fitness and agility,

  • Ability to understand English

 

 

Qualification

  • Nationally recognised “Statement of Attainment” RIIWHS202E & MSMWHS217

  • Enclosed shoes / Steel Cap Boots

  • Suitable clothing to enable you to access a confined space

  • Photo ID e.g drivers licence, proof of age card, HRW Licence, PWC Licence
