Manual Handling is part of almost every job. 45% of injuries at work are caused by manual handling performed incorrectly. It is estimated that it costs the Australian Economy $28 billion yearly, a staggering statistic.
Our aim with this course is to provide the participants with the skills and the knowledge to safely operate an elevated work platform (EWP), and which may lead to the assessments required by the relevant State or Territory to issue a High Risk Work Licence for operating a Boom-type EWP.
This nationally recognised training course gives participants the necessary skills and knowledge to safely and efficiently operate a Front-End Loader and work in a range of different working environments.
This unit covers competence associated with the operation and maintenance of breathing apparatus equipment in an irrespirable atmosphere. This competency applies to operators who are required to wear breathing apparatus for part of their job - because they are working in a confined space
The Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) component teaches participants how to rescue a person that has been using low voltage equipment through the use of a Low Voltage Rescue Kit. Low voltage is defined as less than 1000Vac.
