Course Description
This program is designed for persons who are required to enter and work in confined spaces but do not require competency in breathing apparatus or emergency response.
The course provides participants with the WH&S and legislative requirements and procedures to ensure the health, safety and welfare of persons required to work in confined spaces. This course involves an introduction to emergency response procedures and considerations for first aid and fire fighting in a confined space context. This course does not train or assess competency in breathing apparatus.

Legislation, terminology and definitions
Protective equipment (including breathing apparatus)
Atmospheric hazards and monitoring
Working safely with hazardous substances and chemicals
Hazard identification, risk assessment and implantation of control measures
Safe entry, access and vertical mobility
Emergency response and considerations for rescue and recovery
Mode of Delivery
This course will be delivered via face to face at one of our leading facilities or can be delivered as a blend of online and face-to-face.
