Course Overview

This qualification provides a broad and balanced curriculum for learners of different abilities, our further study qualification helps to build confidence by supporting a learning journey that is interesting, enjoyable and purposeful. Our approach is to offer a flexible qualification designed to produce a curriculum led by learners’ needs and interest.

What you will Learn

Our Further Study qualification prepares learners who need support at various levels to progress to the next stage, primarily supporting individuals with learning difficulties and/or disabilities but also supporting those needing additional study skills.

The development of personal, social, health and well-being are at the heart of our programme alongside developing English and math’s skills.

Assessment

• Performance evidence is assessed through direct observation and questioning.

• English and maths will be assessed through a flexible schedule of exams.

Progression

• Progression from this course may be on to Enry vocational studies or PreInternship/ Internship leading to Employment

Students will develop knowledge, skills and confidence supporting progression to further study or employment.
