Ideally suited to those who have to develop, implement, maintain, improve, manage, or audit environmental systems, our Environmental Management Systems Lead Auditor course will leave you with skills you can easily apply to your organisation.

We will provide you with the skills to conduct an internal or external audit of an Environmental management system in accordance with ISO 19011 Guidelines for Auditing Management Systems. We also cover the requirements of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems standard. 

This course has the equivalent of 36 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.

Whilst this training package uses the word “audit” and its derivatives, this does not equate with the terms audit, review, or assurance in accordance with Pronouncements or Standards issued by the Australian Auditing and Assurance Standards Board. References to the term “audit” and similar terminology within this training relate to the process of auditing in accordance with ISO 19011:2018.

  • The course is divided into flexible modules, enabling you to attend in the one week, or spread across different sessions. The first 2-day module is equivalent to our ‘Becoming a Skilled Lead Internal/External Auditor’ course, where you will learn to conduct a management systems audit. The second module covers the requirements of an Environmental management system.
