DOSH has issued the Ergonomic Risk Assessment Guidelines to assist employers in making arrangements to ensure that there is no ergonomic risk to the health of employees in managing their work activities.
Pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act, under Section 15(2)(b), it is the employer's responsibility to make arrangements for ensuring, as far as practicable, the safety and absence of risks to health in connection with the use, operation, handling, storage, and transport of plants and substances.

Through these guidelines, ergonomic risk assessments should be carried out by ergonomically trained personnel.
