Esthetician- Skincare & Nail Technician

Avant-Garde College offers training programs that meet industry standards and changing trends. Advanced Esthetics & Nail Technician programs each consist of theory and practical application instruction. Students will be issued a Diploma upon successful completion of all course requirements. 

In addition, our students have a Pro discount in our very own Wholesale storefront location in the school!

Admission requirements:

• High school transcript or General Education Development (GED).

• 18 Years of age. Students under 18 years of age require guardian consent.

• Photo identification and social insurance number.

• Over 19 years of age without grade 12 or GED mature status may be considered.

Financial assistance:

• Avant-Garde is designated for student loan funding. Visit the Government of Saskatchewan website for more information about the Canada-Saskatchewan Integrated Student Loan program. Please note student loans will not cover student kits.

Class times:
Courses are full-time, 7.5 hours per day.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8:30am – 4:00pm
 

The Avant-Garde Advanced Esthetics & Nail Technician program is a full-time 38 week course. Students must achieve a minimum grade of 70% to pass the theoretical and practical portions of this program. A diploma will be issued upon successful completion of all course requirements.

Course duration: 

• 1400 hours 

Mature students: 
In place of a High School Diploma, mature students (19+ years old) may be considered.
