Evacuation Chair Training Course

This half day (3 hour) on site course will give staff the knowledge and ability to safely use an evacuation chairs including:

• Deployment and handling of the evacuation chair and passenger
• Placement/installation locations of chairs
• Multiple uses of evacuation chairs

Most of the evac chair course is hands on practice using the evac chair in your premises.

All attendees are required to demonstrate they can evacuate a casualty from your premises using the chair.  Attendees will also be given the opportunity to be evacuated in the chair so they fully understand the issues and how it feels to be the service user.
