  • Level of preparedness to deal with health emergencies in the workplaces 
    • The contents of the relevant primary emergency care/first aid kit
    • Storage and maintenance of primary emergency care kit
  • Assessing and managing an emergency scene/disaster in the workplace 
    • The principles of emergency scene management
    • The primary emergency care process
    • Standard workplace procedures in calling for assistance
    • Management of safety risks and specific workplace hazards
    • Triaging and primary assessment
    • • Initial Scene management
    • • Utilization of available resources for the benefit of the sick
    • Activating emergency services procedures
    • Conducting and managing secondary assessment

  • Primary first aid life support for adults, children and infants according to accepted current protocols

    • One rescuer Cardio-Pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) with and without the use of barrier ventilation devices.
