Course Description

Classed as an emergency response drill, evacuation exercises must be completed by all areas of a facility at least once in each 12 month period as required by AS 3745-2010. The Training includes a briefing before and debrief after the evacuation and a report with the outcomes highlighting any deficiencies that were observed during the exercise.

 

Course Overview
The following information, guidelines and procedures will be covered:

  • Evacuation Exercises that are conducted in a ‘controlled environment’ (scheduled) to test emergency procedures
  • Variety of scenarios to encourage interest and development
  • Briefing prior to the exercise for wardens and selected staff members
  • Role-playing exercises to expand on evacuation procedures
  • A post-exercise debrief is held and minuted
