This course will give the students an understanding of the numerous components within the framework of an event. Students will be instructed on the evolution of an event from its conception to execution.
This two-day course will walk you through the process of event management, from the beginning stages of planning, to the final touches (like decorations, food, and music).
Many organizations host or participate in a variety of meetings and events, large and small, throughout the year. When properly executed, these meetings and events can deliver a tremendous return on investment in terms of exposure, education, marketing, sales or other objectives.
In this Foundations course we will explain the event management profession, learn about the various types of events, understand what is involved in the planning process (and just how little of it involves pretty linens and flowers!) and finally, how to research and implement protocol for an event.
A diploma in Event Management is a challenging and exciting professional qualification. Throughout this program, students will acquire expertise in marketing, accounting, management, and entrepreneurial skills.
