There is one compulsory unit:
23966 Describe types of elevating work platforms (EWPs) and legislative requirements for their use. This covers the theory.
Trainees then complete one or more of the following practical units, depending on the EWPs they will use:

Courses
Courses include working at height training, confined spaces and gas detection, hazard identification, rescue team training, dangerous goods license endorsement, breathing apparatus, fire extinguisher and evacuation warden training, handling hazardous substances and health and safety representative courses.

Our trainers are all from industry backgrounds with extensive experience. Courses are lively: our trainers engage course participants with a blend of the required theory and hands-on realistic practical experience.

This course is aimed at ensuring people working as permit receivers/issuers can understand and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and attributes for all.
Risk appreciation and management is fundamental to the Health and Safety Workplace Act 2015. Understanding the legal approach is a must know.  Salus are thoroughly conversant with WorkSafe expectations and the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 so that clients don’t have to be.

Working At Height course training is offered by Fire and Safety Training Limited for all skill level. We register all units with NZQA as soon as you complete your course.
