EWP Rescue and Controlled Descent Escape

Intensive training for those working in and around Mobile Elevated Work Platforms and Scissor Lifts (MEWPs) who should be prepared for a rescue event of either themselves, or rescue of another person.

This program covers both self-rescue from bucket, and the rescue of another persons (both unresponsive and responsive) when operating a elevated work platform.

EWP Rescue training will also leave participants with knowledge of health, safety and risk management requirements as per legislation and relevant company policies and procedures, specifically:

• Responsibilities for rescue

• Health, safety and risk management strategies

• Rescue plans and implementation

• Equipment inspection

• Carrying out simulated rescue scenarios
