This training provides a classroom presentation, written test, hands-on practice and skills testing session. The classroom portion focuses on key information needed for safe operation of an excavator.

Competent Person Trenching and Excavation training is offered by Catalyst Safety. Catalyst Safety is a full line safety training and consulting company located in McPherson Kansas. Our Safety Consultants have the expertise to  recognize existing and potential hazards

This course covers: sloping, benching, shoring and trench shields, how to inspect for potential cave-ins, hazardous atmospheres, and underground installations. We demonstrate how an employee can be injured and how easily this can be prevented.

Excavation/Trenching Basic Competent Person training is offered by Safety Compliance Management for all skill level. We not only cover safety, emergency response, and regulatory compliance information, but also prepare students to competently assess, manage, and solve real world situations.
