This is a Competent Person certification. Trenching & Excavation is some of the most dangerous work in the construction industry, but can be safe with some basic training. Each trenching or excavation work site has to have an individual who is a competent person.
This course is designed for personnel who are exposed to trenching and excavations where shoring, shielding, sloping or benching is required to prevent cave-ins and other hazards which may be present in the trench or excavation.
Excavation Safety training is offered by Legacy Safety & Consulting. At Legacy Safety & Consulting, we aim to be the leading provider of safety solutions training in the area.
This training course is designed to prepare employees to evaluate hazards related to trenches and excavations, evaluate soil mechanics, and select the appropriate protective system.
