Excavation Safety training is offered by RMS Safety Management. Our instructors are highly skilled presenters and our training facility includes a hands-on training area.

Excavations - Competent Person training is offered by Occupational Safety & Health Inc.. Our OS&H, Inc. staff are continually updating their training and certifications in order to ease the burden associated with regulatory compliance and provide an explanation that is easy to understand of those.
This class serves as an overview of trenches and excavation safety. Participants will look over 29 CFR part 1926 subpart P and be able to learn the different protective systems used to protect construction workers from cave-ins.
Participants are taught from OSHA’s excavation standard (29 CFR 1926-Subpart P) which requires workers in trenches and excavations to be protected. Can-ins are perhaps the most feared trenching hazard; but other potentially fatal hazards exist, including asphyxiation, toxic fumes, drowning.
